Wolfridge- Located a little over an hour south of Crane Lake this course has low fees and nice greens! 9 holes.


The Wilderness - 18 holes located on the shores of Lake Vermillion.
 Vermilion Fairways – 9 Holes 45 min south of Crane Lake.


Vermillion River Greens- This 9-hole course located just outside Crane Lake offers great golf with beautiful scenery!
 Vermillion Golf Course- 18 hole course a little over an hour south of Crane Lake.

Wildlife- Northern Minnesota gives you the unique opportunity to view incredible wildlife and wild areas while on your vacation. You can't say enough about its richness and diversity of wildlife and beautiful places. Voyageurs National Park Species List.

Voyageurs National Park - Your stay at Pine Point Lodge brings you to the steps of Voyageurs National Park where you'll have to leave your car behind and explore the 218,054 acres of exquisite landscape by water! Many beautiful trails give the adventurous their money’s worth and are a great way to intimately view the park.

Soudan Underground State Park- Our tour bus brings you to a unique state park that is 1/2 mile below ground. A 90 minute tour on an underground mine cart gives you an experience like no other.

The Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary- This non-for-profit sanctuary gives you and your family a chance to view wild American black bears in their natural environment. Shuttle leaves every Wednesday evening but is subject to change. Bring your camera, water, snacks and spending money for admission and gift shop.

International Wolf Center - Located in Ely just one hour east of Crane Lake the International Wolf Center holds a pack of wolves for public viewing along with educational speakers and movies regarding the ecology of wolves in Minnesota. Bring Camera, water, snacks and spending money for admission and gift shop.
Orr Bog Walk –A short hike located at the visitors center in Orr. The Orr bog represents a great example of typical wetlands found within the coniferous forests of northern Minnesota. Plant enthusiasts are in for a treat for many types of rare plants are found along the board walk. Also a great place for birding and other wildlife viewing.
Cold Springs Deer Farm – Bring the family for a chance to feed and pet deer!

Sporting clays- Practice your marksmanship in this backcountry sporting clay field where guns and ammunition are available.
ATV- This scenic four-wheeler park gives you the opportunity to explore 1,200 acres of exciting backcountry terrain.
Hibbing Raceway – Catch a race every Saturday at 6:30 for an exciting night of action!

Fat Tuesday Jam Session/ Open mic – Music by The Wolf Bay Brothers and open microphone. Serving casual menu plus BBQ Ribs Dinner Special. Reservations are needed for a table. Playing from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Ely & Duluth - Experience the great shopping Ely has to offer covering everything from tourist gift shops to Ice cream parlors and art galleries to tackle shops. Duluth has almost any type of shopping you can imagine!  Our tour bus will bring you to and from these great locations.

Dorothy Molter Museum – Experience the legacy of a woman who became famous for selling root beer to thousands of canoeists.
United States Hockey Hall of Fame - showcases the history of the sport of ice hockey in the United States, housing a collection of exhibits and memorabilia relating to the history of hockey in America. Individuals selected by USA Hockey are recognized and enshrined in the hall on a yearly basis.
Vermillion Interpretive Center - the center offers exhibits dating from 12,000 years ago focusing on the Ojibwe Indians, fur trading, mining, logging, innovations and a North Pole expedition.
Minnesota Discovery Center & Iron Range Research Center – visit this special library as it focuses on the regional, local and personal history of Minnesota's iron ranges and the people who settled there.
Virginia Heritage museum – This museum houses three major exhibits: The logging era, Virginia's two decimating fires, and the trolley line that traversed the Iron Range until 1927. In addition, the log cabin exhibits recreate the way of life in the early days. Also, hundreds of photos and an outstanding collection of vintage postcards are available for viewing.
Minnesota Museum of Mining – This museum gives you that chance for some “hands on” experience with mining.

Note: The National Park Service has adopted the following three interim measures to protect the interior lakes in Voyageurs National Park from the spiny waterflea, other exotic species, and fish diseases:
o       artificial bait only (on all interior lakes only)
o       no privately-owned watercraft allowed in interior lakes. Includes canoes. The park will continue to provide canoes and row boats for rent through the Boats on Interior Lakes program.
